CBS China Bank Savings (CBS), the country’s second-largest thrift bank, is expanding both its physical and digital presence to enhance banking accessibility, the bank said on Wednesday.
CBS opened a new branch in Mandaue City, Cebu, relocating to the Orion Corporate Center on A.S. Fortuna and Sacris Road to improve customer service and accessibility. The branch, unveiled on March 10, replaces its previous location in Del Rosario.
“Our products and services are tailored for businesses and individuals alike, offering flexible savings accounts, digital banking solutions, and loan options,” said Jan Nikolai M. Lim, CBS Retail Banking and Consumer Lending Group Head.

Alongside its physical expansion, CBS is boosting digital services with the launch of “Casey,” an AI-powered chatbot developed with Tech One Global Philippines and powered by Microsoft Copilot. Casey provides 24/7 real-time assistance through the bank’s website and Facebook page.
“With Casey, we are making a significant leap in our digital transformation journey,” CBS President James Christian T. Dee said.
CBS operates 170 branches, 107 lending centers and “branch lites,” and 225 ATMs nationwide, focusing on SME financing and retail banking.
