Vietnam-based Cebuano innovator Poppet C. Celdran has launched BridgeAI, an educational technology startup that uses artificial intelligence to help Filipino English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers automate lesson planning and improve classroom engagement.
BridgeAI, available at www.bridgeai.pro, is a subscription-based platform designed to generate ESL lesson plans quickly, saving teachers time and improving the quality of instruction.
Early pilot tests among Filipino teachers showed the platform helped save up to eight hours of planning time per week and increased student engagement by 40%, the company said.
Celdran, a Cebu native and graduate of the University of the Philippines Cebu, said the tool was built to support Filipino ESL teachers, many of whom serve a growing international market.
The Philippines is among the largest exporters of online English instruction globally.
The launch comes as the country’s education system shifts toward improved English proficiency under a revised K–12 curriculum, heightening demand for digital tools that support classroom efficiency.
BridgeAI is also being rolled out in collaboration with local schools to tailor content to the Philippine context.
The company said teachers who join the waitlist will gain early access and promotional pricing ahead of the full launch later this year.
BridgeAI is Celdran’s second startup. His first, the Zen Wellness App—Vietnam’s leading massage therapy platform—plans to expand to the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand by 2026. – CebuLifestyleChannel.ph
